I'm very happy to share that last year, the company Diamood approached me to collaborate on a diamond painting project. This technique has always caught my attention; unfortunately, there are online stores that reproduce some artists' art without their consent, so I was wary of that aspect. However, their approach is ethical; all the diamond paintings available on their website have the consent of the artists, in addition to financial compensation. Furthermore, the transformation from the original work to the pixelated version is done by hand by their team, which is remarkable in terms of attention to detail.
In case you're unfamiliar with diamond painting, it's an artistic technique that combines aspects of mosaic and cross-stitch embroidery. It involves applying small acrylic crystals, called "diamonds," to an adhesive canvas pre-printed with a coded pattern. Each diamond is placed following a numerical or color guide, allowing for images to be recreated with a high level of detail and brilliance.
